Traditional Moroccan Steam Hammam & Spa Massage with Optional Hotel Transfers
What to bring
- Wear your swimsuit or underwear for the steam/hammam area. Many luxury spas will provide a bathrobe and towels, but it’s still wise to have swim bottoms or under-garments just in case.
- Bring a change of dry, comfortable clothes for after the treatment — your skin will be freshly scrubbed and may feel tender.
- Slip-on waterproof sandals or flip-flops to move safely in the wet spa/steam area.
- Ensure you bring any health- or mobility-related information with you (e.g., if you have skin conditions, are pregnant, or have other special requirements) so the spa staff can assist appropriately.
#
What’s not allowed
- Jewellery, watches or other valuables as humid/steam environments are not ideal for these, and many spas ask you to store them safely.
- Loud behaviour, photography or phone use in the hammam/steam rooms.
- If you feel unwell (for example dizzy from heat, skin irritated, or expecting complications) you should avoid going into intense steam or scrub areas.
- Oversized bags or luggage into the spa treatment area. Facilities usually provide lockers for small items and recommend leaving large items in your hotel/transfer vehicle.
#
Accessibility
- This experience may not be suitable for guests using wheelchairs or those with significant mobility issues as the steam and scrub environment can involve walking on wet floors, steps or raised platforms.
- If you have mobility limitations, skin conditions, open wounds, or are pregnant, please inform the spa ahead of time so they can advise whether the scrub and steam treatments are appropriate for you.
#
- Arrive a little early so you can get changed, store your items in the locker and ease into the spa environment.
- The spa is operated by 100% female staff.
